Easigas (Pty) Ltd proposes to increase the capacity of their existing Liquid Petroleum Gas (PLG) storage depot in Sidwell / New Brighton through the installation of an additional 400 m3 above ground LPG storage tank. The facility currently stores a total of 315 m3 LPG in five above ground LPG storage tanks (3 x 45 m3 and 2 x 90 m3) and acts as a LPG cylinder filling facility. The new tank will differ from the existing facility in that it will be strategic bulk storage to support the region, and in particular existing industrial customers within the automotive industry (bulk truck offloading and loading), as opposed to cylinder filling.
