Mark Willow

Mark's specialities include extensive site characterization and baseline data collection experience, mine plan of operations development, reclamation planning, pit lake studies, and general permitting in multiple jurisdictions. As an SRK Practice Leader, Mark oversees work scope implementation and provides senior technical review of in-house and local consultants performing various environmental studies and baseline data collection activities. Mark draws upon this diverse background as a biologist and environmental scientist for his knowledge and experience as a human health and ecological risk assessor with respect to potential environmental impacts and monitoring associated with mining operations, especially with respect to post-closure pit lakes. 


Using these skills and experience, Mark provides environmental due diligence/competent persons evaluations for developmental and operational mining projects throughout the world, and is a Qualified Person (QP) in accordance with Companion Policy 43-101CP to National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. This affords him the opportunity to participate as the environmental QP on numerous preliminary economic assessments, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for mineral development projects around the world.
