Felipe is a civil engineer with a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering. During his career, he has worked for several engineering consultancy firms in the U.S. and South America. He has been involved in numerous projects, where he has worked on technical aspects and performed managerial roles.
Felipe is experienced in performing engineering calculations and analysis, using computer-based tools and finite element and liquefaction analysis. He has prepared technical reports for projects from conceptual to detailed design phases and has developed construction and instrumentation plans, geotechnical and civil designs, and surface and groundwater controls. In the past, Felipe has also worked on construction quality control, as a site representative for the engineer of record (EOR) for several tailings management facilities.
