David Pérez

David has developed strategies for the development of mine closure plans, risk assessment, definition of measures, costs, and financial bonds. 

He has had participated in the development of EIAs and EIDs for mining projects in addition to preparing technical reports for permitting processes. Developed closure plans nationwide and through SRK USA.

He has experience in monitoring surface and groundwater quality and geochemical sampling, developing activities such as geochemical monitoring planning, geochemical monitoring of materials from dumps, tailings and pit walls for large-scale mining operations, closure plans and development of automated systems for hydrochemical and geochemical data analysis. 

With a high capacity for conceptualization, design, and development of automation and optimization systems as well as implementing methods and spatial analysis technologies for planning in the territorial modeling of environmental variables within the Environmental Assessment Project framework. 

Currently, he is a professor at Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Faculty of Engineering teaching the Development of Applications in Geomatics Course.
